Chapter Updates :: 2015 Annual Circle of Excellence Awards

By Deborah Colangelo, PR Committee

2015 Annual Circle of Excellence Award Nominees

It was a beautiful October morning at the gorgeous downtown Orlando Citrus Club for the tenth annual Circle of Excellence (COE) Awards Celebration breakfast. NCSA Central Florida chapter gathers annually to recognize, “The Best of the Best,” in the call center space from the greater Orlando metropolitan area.   This is our premiere event of the year, and it was another heartwarming and exciting time. Over 120 members of the local customer service community attended this one of a kind event.

Chapter President Wes Tindal kicked off the day, and introduced a nice surprise speaker, Bill Crutcher, President of the NCSA.  After Bill’s remarks, Travis Morris, COE Director shared details of the program and introduced the morning’s emcees, Holly Faries and April Clark.  These dynamic ladies introduced all 43 COE nominees to the group by providing their key metrics and a brief biography.  Wow! What spectacular talent we are lucky to have in Central Florida.

Mid-point through the ceremony, we were treated to a repeat of guest speaker, Kyle Coon who spoke on “Excellence through Adversity.”  Kyle and his dog stole the show as he talked about achieving great things through vision, attitude and commitment.

All in all, there were a record 43 nominees, the most in the history of the Circle of Excellence program.  All the nominees are excellent performers, but only ONE in each category is selected to receive the coveted Diamond Award.

The Diamond Award winners, by category, were:
• Giselle Aguirre – Starwood (Collections)
• Cory Andersen – Universal Orlando Resort (Sales)
• Katryna Coalburn – Telespeak (Help Desk)
• Sarah Saunders – The Mark Travel Corporation (Service)

If you have questions regarding the program, please contact Mike Shumate or Travis Morris from NCSA Central Florida.
